At Virtual Museum, we believe that art can nourish everyday’s life!

Virtual Museum is a project derived from the Instagram account Les Papilles de l’Art. Every day, we publish a new artwork from the collections of a museum somewhere in the world. The texts are written with the help of AI and revised with human oversight. Please do not hesitate to contact us to notify any inconsistencies that should arise.

For each artwork, we provide its description as well as a brief biography of the artist. We also link to the artwork’s page on the museum’s website whenever possible.

The site is gradually expanded with more detailed biographies of major artists, presentations of significant artistic movements, and thematic exhibitions.
